Innovation and creativity continues to drive product development within Porter's. They have added unique, easily applied, ready to lay finished floors to the range, which compliment the already successful floor surface and paint finishes.

In keeping with Porter's long history of environmental concern, all timbers have been sourced from sustainable commercial European forests.

Porter's Finished Floors are a luxurious 20mm deep, incorporating 6mm of solid American Oak over a multi-ply wood base ensuring strength and stability of finished product. When using a Porter's Finished Floor product you don't have to worry about cupping or warping (which can be a concern when using solid timber floorboards, especially in wider widths) due to sophisticated engineering in production. The longer spans available allow a smoother, more seamless finish.

Our floor boards are hand-scraped and rubbed to develop the patina of an aged, worn-in look, and we use an Aluminium Oxide clear finish for durability and to provide a low lustre, low VOC finish. Choose from a variety of finishes such as "Smoked and Limed", "Natural", "Turkish Coffee" or a sophisticated black called "Noir". Available in three luxury widths, 189mm, 260mm and 305mm.
